The Garden Club of Trinidad launched its gardening book - Gardening in Trinidad and Tobago ... Our Style, at Stollmeyer's Castle on Tuesday 6th December, 2018.
The Garden Club's Annual General Meeting was held on 1st July in the beautiful garden of Mrs. Sandra Carrington. A new committee was voted in for the year 2017-2018. They are Camille Hyatali, Lyn Murray, Reva Oakes, Janice Potter, Lorraine Agostini, Heather Jacelon, Jennifer Knaggs and Anna Daniel.
The Garden Club hosted a fund raising Tea and Bingo on Saturday 24th March 2018, at the Conservatory, San Antonio Farms in Santa Cruz. Everyone enjoyed a delicious tea in the beautiful surroundings of the conservatory and afterwards there was much fun and excitement in winning many great prizes in the game of bingo. All proceeds from this event went towards the funding of the club's Gardening Book to be published later on the year.
Simone Taylor and Katy Bennett worked long and hard hours creating the beautiful floral works of art seen here. These were on display at the HSTT Flower Show held at the Trinidad Country Club on 8th and 9th April, 2017. Click here to see larger images of the arrangements.
