Members and their guests thoroughly enjoyed their visit to Peter and Chancy Moll's San Antonio Farms on Saturday 13th April. Chancy gave a very informative talk on the varied flowering plants and shrubs as she led everyone through her beautiful garden. From the photos one can attest to the vast number of plants at San Antonio, from the exotic heliconias to the more common crotons. Sincere thanks to Peter and Chancy for a delightful afternoon.
Saturday 16th March was a perfect afternoon for a garden meeting, sunny and with a constant breeze. Sharon has a lovely colourful garden that faces the river in Westmoorings. Very spacious and obviously carefully planned and landscaped. Each bed was manicured to perfection with healthy shrubs and flowering plants.
Saturday 16th February was a bright sunny afternoon, perfect for garden club members and their guests to enjoy Betsy 's large expanse of garden. There were lovely healthy shrubs and flowers, not to mention her immaculate lawn. An unusual Kumquat tree, still relatively young so not in flower nor bearing fruit but beautifully grown and the centre of attention.
Many thanks Betsy for a most enjoyable afternoon. Click here to see more pics of Betsy Herrera's garden
Sunny, but cool, a typical January morning, greeted members and their guests to Lyn Murray's garden. A garden in all of its glory - nearly everything was in full bloom and very evident of the constant maintenance and hard work that was involved. Sincere thanks Lyn for sharing. Peter Moll also gave a very informative talk and demonstration on how and when to cut back poinsettias an chrysanthemums to make them bloom again. Sincere thanks also to Peter.
