Meeting at Sandra Solis' Garden

Sandra’s garden has always been one to admire but her recent landscaping project and the addition of a pool has resulted in her garden being undoubtedly exquisite.  An extensive variety of plants, shrubs, trees, garden art and water features all attractively placed, made it a feast for a gardener’s eyes.

There was one shrub in particular – the osmoxylon lineare,  that caught the attention of many who took photos with the hope of sourcing and purchasing.

The Showbench was aglaonemas and diffenbachias and was very well represented. Our winners were Moira, Suzie, Marion and Slophia – well done ladies.  And a special thank you to the judges Katy, Simone and Anna.

A talk amongst members about favourite garden features resulted in the general opinion that lighting was one of and if not the most important asset in a garden.  A tour of the beautiful garden, exciting raffle, delicious eats, all went into the making of a most enjoyable morning.  Sincere thanks Sandra for a truly delightful visit.
