Meeting at Suzanne Gransaull's Garden
Members and their guests were in for a treat when they visited the beautiful home and garden of Suzanne Gransaull. Nestled atop Newbury Hill the constant breeze was indeed a plus for such a sunny day.
Suzanne’s garden, in pristine condition, was admired by all. An eye catching bromeliad and desert rose as well as a colourful croton were some of the plants that complimented the pool area.
A stunning rangoon creeper, bursting with blossoms, decorated an arbor . The beautifully manicured garden featured a wide variety of shrubs, trees, vines, sun tolerant and shade loving plants; very evident of Suzanne’s hard work and landscaping skills.
Begonias was the showbench of the day. Carole Lewis easily walked away with first and third prizes as well as members’ choice and best grown. Simone Taylor won second prize for her outstanding exhibit. Congratulations and well done ladies.
Sincere thanks Suzanne for your kind and gracious hospitality.
